At the Car: Photos First
Before a towel touches the paint, walk the car and run an inspection with photos in the iPhone or Android app. If the condo garage has no signal, nothing waits on it: inspections and photos, job status, line items, marking the job complete, cash and check and the time clock all save on the phone and sync once you are back in range. Card payments and texts are the two things that need a connection.
Between Cars: The Route
Put the day's jobs on a tech and one click orders that tech's stops on real drive times. With two vans out, each tech's day is ordered with its own click, so the second van is never left with the leftovers of the first.
After the Detail: Paid, Thanked, Reviewed
Cards run through the built-in processing at 2.9% + $0.30 on standard cards, bank payments cost $0.20 flat per transaction, and cash or check can be marked paid on the spot. AmEx, business and international cards carry a small published surcharge.
Every text with the customer sits in one thread, both ways and with photos, and a Google or Facebook review request goes out after every job without anyone remembering to send it. Core includes 1,000 texts a month, Growth 5,000 and Pro 10,000.
Supplies and Repeat Accounts
Stock is counted per van and comes off when the job closes, so you know tonight whether tomorrow's van is short on anything.
